About Me
I am a recent queens-college">Queens College graduate who majored in Biology as well as minored in Psychology and Chemistry. Currently, I am an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Biology at queens-college">Queens College.
I have earned 4 out of 5 points in the AP Biology examination. Furthermore, I have achieved the 90th percentile of the standardized exam known as Dental Admission Test recently, with slightly higher scores in the science areas (Biology, General Chemistry, and Organic Chemistry).
Experience
As a biology laboratory instructor, I employ hands-on exercises and problem based learning. These methods are essential in aiding students to develop the basic techniques necessary to understand organismal biology and behavior. Teaching labs has helped me to effectively communicate complex concepts.
Approach
I understand the overwhelming demand school requires from students. As a tutor, I am dedicated in inspiring students' interest in Biology as well as developing a sense of confidence to realize their full potentials through encouragements. Other than being able to convey the concepts effectively, I would share smarter study skills to help students achieve success.
