About Me

Hi, I’m Emilee—writer, entrepreneur, teacher, and children’s book author. Literature has been my lifelong love, ever since I was old enough to turn the pages on my own. These days, when I’m not busy sharing my books, you can find me studying to become a Montessori teacher, learning new ways to spark curiosity in young minds.

After graduating from Baylor University, I followed my dream and published my very first book, Sustainable Stella. It’s a bright and cheerful introduction to sustainability, designed to show kids that caring for our planet can be fun, imaginative, and attainable. In 2024, I brought my second book, Gigi’s Golden Garden, to life, a colorful celebration of nature, friendship, and the magic of growing things.

Experience

I specialize in teaching foundational subjects such as early reading and literacy, phonics, handwriting, and math for preschool through early elementary levels. I also enjoy helping children build confidence, independence, and a love of learning through engaging, hands-on lessons.

Approach

My approach is gentle, encouraging, and tailored to each child’s unique learning style. I love making lessons meaningful and fun—whether that’s through storytelling, games, or creative movement activities.
