One thing you will almost always see me with is a basketball. Basketball has been my life since I could walk and continues to be my favorite sport today! I enjoy any type of activity that involves competition and people, which are two more of my favorite things!

About Me

I am a sophomore at wayne-state-university">Wayne State University, where I am currently majoring in Biology, with a minor in Criminal Justice. When I receive my bachelor's degree, I hope to attend wayne-state-university">Wayne State University's Medical School to become a Pediatric Neurosurgeon.

Since beginning college, I have helped detroit">tutor classmates and peers, as well as middle school students. Subjects have varied each meeting, which kept my knowledge fresh about the materials that were being presented. I have always volunteered my time to students, always giving them my very best. Frog detroit">Tutoring is giving me the ability to help even more students, which I am very excited about!

Because school hasn't always been the easiest for me, I understand what troubles that many students are going through. There's never a worse feeling than trying your hardest and still not understanding the material that a teacher is presenting. It is important that each and every student has a substantial amount of confidence in all of their work, so that they are able to give their all. It is also very important for the mentor or detroit">tutor to present the material in such a way that the student understands. Not everyone learns the same, therefore, I always ensure that I talk with the student first to see which way they best understand the material, as well as make them comfortable with me!
