You can call me Bella! I love, love, love children!!! I love Chemistry! I write music, poetry and like to sing, dance and act. I do play the piano-somewhat. Hmm? I use everyday life examples to try to help you remember things you have learned. Very simple analogies! I love God!

About Me

I am a college student and my major is MBBB(Molecular Biology, Biochemistry & Bioinformatics). I spend most of my time in the Library, and I enjoy washington-dc">tutoring very much. I do love to study especially chemistry. Weird right? Not at all. Once I begin studying chemistry, I just find it so fascinating. With this major, I intend on attending Medical School.

I have tutored people before and I try to find a lay-man term of explaining things, that way they did not forget them later on. I study to learn, not to pass an exam, so I encourage this habit with my students. Finding everyday life activities is a great way of retaining things. Making fun analogies like a zip-lock bag to represent tight junctions or the game telephone to indicate cell-to-cell interactions is very helpful.

I do encourage interactive learning, so I do like to work with the boards and markers. I want you to solve the problem, I will walk you through it and explain concepts. When I tell you something is wrong, I want you to examine it and tell me what you think you did wrong and attempt to correct your mistakes. I will help you to better understand why it is, or it is not what the correct answer is. I do not like to speak to you, but speak with you! This is very important in building communication, because of course without communication, there is no progress! I look forward to working with you!
