I've been a competitive ballroom dancer for 15 years, and the drive and hard work I exhibit in my craft and studies I also bring to those I teach.

About Me

I am a Sage Scholar at Hunter College studying Biology and Mathematics. I plan to apply to MD/PhD schools after graduation and hope to become a physician scientist. I received my undergraduate education from Stuyvesant High School.

Experience

I have tutored kids of all ages for four years, and have gotten them into Specialized Middle Schools (Mark Twain, Bay Academy) and Specialized High Schools (Stuyvesant, Brooklyn Tech, etc.).

Approach

I find what works best is to break the topic down into concepts they understand. I bring in a lot of examples from real life, and make it interesting for them. My students are encouraged and supported, and pushed to succeed.
