I love ultimate frisbee! I play regularly because it's an easy and awesomely fun way to get exercise and be part of a positive community.

About Me

I have a Master's in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Arizona and a Bachelor's in Microbiology from Northern Arizona University. I have recently started a biotech company where we are developing novel tools for use in cancer surgery. I love science and am really excited to be able to communicate what I've learned over the years to others in a clear and interesting manner!

I tutored middle school kids in reading-comprehension/arizona/tucson">Reading Comprehension and Math when I was in high school. Additionally, I tutored several of my peers in college and graduate level classes in subjects ranging from physiology to electrical engineering. I have listed the subjects in which I feel the most comfortable in the associated section provided.

My approach to tucson">tutoring to the break down concepts to their simplest form and build up from there, allowing lots of room for questions. If one direction is not understood, I try to take a different direction in order to most clearly illustrate the larger concept. My goal is to never leave a concept misunderstood.
