Fun Facts

As an engineering professional, I love math, especially calculus and physics. I enjoy teaching and helping others understand concepts in a way that they learn best. I have experience teaching college level calculus as well as atlanta">tutoring students in elementary school, middle school and high school. I'm passionate about teaching others and find it rewarding when I can help someone become more confident in their school work and discover an interest they may not have known they had!

About Me

I graduated from the Georgia Institute of Technology with a Civil Engineering degree. Throughout my career, I have designed buildings, worked in transportation and even at a nuclear power plant. Some of my weekend hobbies include learning French and skiing.

Experience

I have been a atlanta">tutor for a total of 9 years. While in college, I was a Teacher's Assistant and led lectures in Calculus II in order to enhance others' understanding of the material. Some of my most memorable moments have been when former students, often my peers, would run into me and thank me for helping them get through a class that they would otherwise struggle with.

Approach

I take a positive and encouraging approach to atlanta">tutoring. While atlanta">tutoring, I make sure to engage students in the way they learn best while addressing any concerns they, or the parent, might have. I explain concepts thoroughly, making sure they student in comfortable with a concept before moving on.
