Fun Facts
I love the outdoors. Anything that has to do with hiking, biking, or running, I'm there. That's why I love Colorado so much, there is always something to do, and the sun is always shining, which makes the outdoors more exciting. I also love traveling. I've traveled to Cambodia last summer and I have enjoyed the culture and the people.
About Me
I graduated from the University of Colorado at Denver in 2009. Since then, I worked as a nurse aide for three years. I was also involved in some science research projects at Denver Health and I have also traveled a little bit. My goal is to become a physician and I'm on my way there.
Experience
During college, I tutored some students in science classes, specifically in biology and chemistry. I enjoy working with students because it is always exciting to see when they finally grasp a concept or when they achieve A's in all their classes. I am confident that I will be able to help students reach their potential and I believe that For denver">Tutoring gives me the opportunity to make a positive impact when I work with students.
Approach
In high school, I struggled with the pressures of tests and quizzes. However, I depended on other denver">tutors and my own study skills to improve as a student. Through positive encouragement and determination, I was able to carry out what I learned into college and I succeeded in earning a bachelors degree with honors.
