I lived in two different countries, England and in Grenada other than America before the age 18.

About Me

I am counselor education student and a legal assistant at a defense law firm. I hope to mix psychology and the legal field in my future career. I would like to open up a one stop institution for at-risk youth in my community.

Experience

I was a tutor for two years in Tampa, FL and i have volunteered with children of all ages over the past few years. My last internship was at the lippman youth shelter and it involved me counseling each client. In addition, i aassisted with homework and other activities. I am also familiar with children with autism, as i volunteered as mentor with this population as well. I would love to impact more children and help them to excel in school so that they can become successful adults.

Approach

My approach with each child will depend on what our goals are, what the clients goals are and my competence level within the subject matter. I would also take an holistic and motivational approach in-order to assist each member believe in themselves and continue to work hard.
