Fun Facts

I like video games quite a lot, and music too. I've got a pretty good sense of rhythm. As for music genres, well, my favorite stuff is from video games. I've lived on the West Coast of the US my whole life, and I've only been out of the country once. I saw a peacock when I did though, so that was pretty neat.

About Me

I've just finished a 4-year electrical engineering program at the portland">University of Portland. I'm hoping to get a job and pay the bills. There's a balance I'm searching for in my life, and I'm going to find it. Maybe I'll become a Professional Engineer. I've got lots of options, and I'm open to many of them.

Experience

I participated in a washington/washington/vancouver">vancouver">tutoring program while I was at college and helped out elementary school students who were struggling by working in small groups with them. Even when I was in elementary school, I volunteered to help out those who were falling behind. Working with kids is a delight that I would enjoy taking part in again.

Approach

Patience is a virtue, and when employed, it can soften hearts. When I was working as a washington/washington/vancouver">vancouver">tutor in college, many of the students were shy and hesitant to participate. I kept trying to involve them, but was never too forceful about it. It took a while, but they began to feel more at ease and participated more in our discussions and activities, which helped them catch up to the rest of the students.
