My favorite subjects in school were always art, reading, and math. Growing up I loved the challenge that art brought me. Drawing something to look exactly like a picture. My goal was to be able to pick up a pencil and piece of paper and be able to draw exactly what I saw, when I wanted to draw it. My other favorites were reading and math. Reading, because every book used to let me live moments that in real life would be impossible. Math was my favorite because, like art, was a challenge. I loved

About Me

I am from Fresno, Ca. Growing up I struggled in my first few years of school, my teacher wanted to hold me back in first grade. However, my Mom was insistent that I would be able to catch up. I did exactly that and more. In class I became the kid that helped everyone else when they didn't understand things. I helped kids after school while in the library. This desire to help others and myself succeed continued to follow me. To this day I am still offering to help struggling peers to understand class material.

I have had a couple fresno">tutoring jobs. The first was in high school and I tutored a sewing/home economics class. The second, was with a fresno">tutoring company and I tutored several kids on math and English. I love working with students and helping them reach their highest potential.

My fresno">tutoring approach is believing that everyone has the ability to be as smart and as successful as they want to be. Anybody can do anything! I feel that from my experiences struggling in first grade, I worked extra hard to catch up and to get ahead. All it takes is a little help from someone who can show you the way. My teachers showed me the way, and I'd love to show my current and future students the road map to success.
