I like to read a lot of fiction books and I love watching TV series. In my spare time I mostly listen to music and watching movies with my younger brother. I absolutely love food and trying new things from different cultures. I like to travel and explore NYC even though I've lived here my whole life.
About Me
I am a senior Nursing Student at Hunter Bellevue School Of Nursing in Manhattan. I have maintained a 3.58 GPA despite the struggles and hardships I have faced with the tough curriculum. I hope to graduate in May and take my boards exam to become a Registered Nurse. I want to gain experience in the field
Experience
I have been volunteering with a program called Reading Partners for the past year, where I tutor first and second grade students and help them develop their reading skills as well as comprehension and vocabulary. I am patient and I use positivity to move the students forward and have them achieve their full potential.
Approach
When I was younger it was hard for me to ask for help because being the first child my parents always expected a lot from me. I started to have trouble in college and spoke to a professor who told me its okay to ask for help. From that moment on I encourage my colleagues and the students that its okay to make mistakes, as long as you learn from them and strive to do better.
