Fun Facts
So one thing you learn about me really fast is that I have an intense love for traveling and writing. I want to travel the world. I have been out of country a few times, and have absolutely enjoyed it. As far as writing goes, everyone who really knows me knows about that passion. When I was 16 I started carrying around a notebook just for inspiration and random writing tidbits. One day, I hope to release my own book (or two)!
About Me
I am almost a sophomore at University of New Orleans, a TOPS Honors Scholar with a scholarship to UNO beyond that. I am a Biology major currently, but I plan on switching to be an Education Major to become a secondary education math teacher, even though it might mean an extra year in school. I plan to go on until I obtain my masters in Education, focused around curriculum building and the sorts.
Experience
I have been denver">tutoring since my sophomore year of high school, though I didn't start out with children. I used to denver">tutor a lot of my mother's friends who were returning to college after a break. When I got into college I wanted to reach out and start denver">tutoring again. I started my own child care business, and through that I have been able to denver">tutor and babysit a multitude of young children. Hopefully working for Frog denver">Tutoring will give me the opportunity to touch even more lives.
Approach
I was fortunate enough to go to a really amazing high school, where they instilled in me patience, kindness, and dedication. As a denver">tutor, I attempt to bring all three of these traits into play. I feel it is my responsibility to teach the students the content and the study skills they require to be successful in every class they take. I hope to be a encouraging and dedicated to helping them as my teachers were to me.

College Algebra Tutoring
I have taken college algebra and pre-calculus algebra at the college level and passed both with an A.
Algebra Tutoring
I have taken through Pre-Calculus algebra at the college level and received an A. By my junior year of high school I was taking college level Algebra and Trigonometry with Southwestern University and passing with a B.
Algebra II Tutoring
I have taken all the way through Pre-Calculus Algebra in college with a grade of an A. I am currently in Pre-Calculus Trigonometry with an A. By my senior year in high school I had taken and passed college algebra and trigonometry with a B.
English Tutoring
I have taken through the second semester English at University of New Orleans, having tested out of the first semester of English due to my ACT score. I took AP English in my last year of high school, and passed with a B.
History Tutoring
I took five histories in high school, all with As and Bs. My senior year of high school I took AP European History, though I did not take the test.
Homework Coach Tutoring
I tutor a few little girls, and even help my boyfriend manage homework. I would be glad to work through homework and show someone how to manage homework with more ease.

I received a 32 on the ACT in reading comprehension and have been working on this since I was very little. I have taken no courses, but my mother worked with me from a very young age and taught me the skills needed in order to teach other people.
Study Skills Tutoring
My degree is not related to this subject, but I would not have gotten this far without developing these skills. I can teach you how to manage your time, take effective notes, etc etc.
