Fun Facts
I've always loved helping people. When I was twelve I was involved in an accident leaving me hospitalized for two months and that's when I realized I wanted to become exactly one of those people that could help others. Since then I've made a full recovery and am steadily reaching my goal. I enjoy playing videogames, reading, jogging, and bicycling.
About Me
I am a first year student at New York University with an intended major of biochemistry or chemical engineering. I hope to get into medical school after graduating with a bachelor's in my major.
Experience
In high school I was often called upon by my peers to help them with their classwork, homework, or to just lead general study sessions. I was the valedictorian of my graduating class in 2014 and took numerous advanced placement courses. Tutoring my peers both one on one and in group sessions has helped me identify common errors that high school students make and of course since I was one of them, I understand how difficult some courses may be.
Approach
I've always been fond of helping others, especially academically since it was the one thing I could be proud of. Tutoring my peers and underclassmen in high school has helped me hone my skills as a tutor. Encouraging them not to give up when stuck on a problem and finding different approaches to solve the same problem have played key roles in helping my peers learn the material.

Calculus I Tutoring
I have taken Calculus I and have passed with a letter grade of A.
Algebra Tutoring
Passed Algebra I with a letter grade of A and a regents score of 88. I am well versed in manipulation of mathematical equations.
AP Chemistry Tutoring
I have taken the course and received a 5 on the AP Chemistry test. I passed the course with a letter grade of A.
Biology Tutoring
I have taken and passed the high school biology course with a letter grade of A and passed the Living Environment regents with a grade of 95. I have also taken AP Biology and received a 5 on the AP test.
Biology AP Tutoring
I have taken and passed the high school AP biology course with a letter grade of A. I have taken the AP biology test and received a score of 5.
Calculus Tutoring
I have taken both AB calculus and Calculus I. I received a letter grade of A in both and a score of 5 on the AP AB calculus exam.
Calculus AP Tutoring
I have taken AP Calculus AB and passed the exam with a score of 5.
SAT Math Tutoring
I have taken the SAT and received a score of 680 on the exam, corresponding to the 90th percentile.
