I am originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania but love the Raleigh area. Other than being passionate about my undergraduate career, I also love all types of sports. My favorite sport is definitely golf. I will playing it during any of my free time, and even though I may never make the pros, I take great pride in my game. I also enjoy hanging out with my friends and watching movies.

About Me

I am a senior at North Carolina State University studying Chemical Engineering with minors in Mathematics and German. I take great pride in my 3.984 GPA. I hope to find a job as a chemical engineer next year, but return as a student later to earn my Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering.

Experience

I have a lot of experience in raleigh">tutoring, whether it be for my friends because I typically learn at a faster pace or when I tutored for NC State. I really enjoy raleigh">tutoring because I love when I can see my students actively learn and have what I call the "a-ha" moments. Hopefully, Frog raleigh">Tutoring will give me the opportunity to advance the education of several students.

Approach

I believe that the most important part of being a raleigh">tutor is showing the students how to learn the material independently because the raleigh">tutor will not always be around to help. So, in addition to teaching the topics, I also teach study skills that will benefit students. I want the student to be comfortable asking me questions because I will not know what they understand unless they tell me, so I promote a relaxed learning environment.
