Fun Facts
One fun fact about me is that I absolutely love running! I'm one of those strange people you see outside in the freezing cold and really hot temperatures just getting my fun run of the day in! I'm also a bowler! My family and I are in a bowling league and meets every Sunday.
About Me
I’m a second year graduate student at George Washington’s Milken Institute School of Public Health. I will be getting my Masters in Public Health Microbiology and Emerging Infectious Diseases. I finished my BS in molecular biology from Arizona State University. My future goal is to get my PhD in Epidemiology so I can teach and research at a university.
Experience
Currently I teach a freshman biology course at washington-university">George washington-university">Washington University. In addition to this experience, I've also tutored a 6 year old in basic math and writing as a part of a mentor program.
Approach
My approach is use technology and current events to engage my students. In class, I often pull up music videos that relate to the topic in class. When students can relate the material taught in the classroom to real life events they often retain the material better.
