In my free time I enjoy playing baseball, soccer, and golf. I even have a few adult league teams I play for. I also enjoy listening to music and going to concerts.
About Me
Hi, my name is Tyler. I am a 22 year old who graduated with distinction this past December from Georgia State University with a BS in biology and a minor in chemistry. For all of my tutorial sessions I specifically tailor a learning plan for each student. For all of my students I create study guides and worksheets made specifically for each student to help guide the tutorial sessions. The students then can use these study guides and worksheets to study and practice outside of our sessions to encourage further mastery of the material. Though my college background is in the sciences, I am confident in providing excellent atlanta">tutoring services for nearly any subject or standardized test up through the high school or early collegiate level. I enjoy being a atlanta">tutor because I feel that it is a meaningful pursuit that would allow me to use my own knowledge and expertise to help students succeed academically and reach their goals.
During my time at Georgia State I spent three semesters leading a Biology 2107 supplemental instruction class. This involved holding three one hour sessions per week where students could come and receive detailed and specific atlanta">tutoring in biology with lesson plans tailored to the topics they were currently studying in their majors level introductory biology classes. Since graduation I have been atlanta">tutoring full time and have received excellent feedback from my students. In the future I plan on continuing my education in pursuit of a medical degree.
Experience
