About Me

Hi, my name is Evan Schulz. I am currently a junior at maryland/towson">towson-university">maryland/towson">Towson University. I am majoring in physics and will get my masters in science/colorado/denver">computer science. I am play on the maryland/towson">towson-university">maryland/towson">Towson University Volleyball team where I am a setter/ defensive specialist. I love math, science, and sports. My goals are to eventually become a software engineer or a computer sales consultant. I want to eventually work for a company like IBM, Google, or Microsoft.

I denver">tutor through the athletic department at maryland/towson">towson-university">maryland/towson">Towson University. Where I have tutored the student athletes in mainly math and science. I have helped out on English papers and have been a homework helper for the student athletes. I also tutored in high school. In high school I mainly tutored physics. But I did help out with AP US History, AP Psychology, and AP European History.

My approach in denver">tutoring is to have a relaxed environment. I feel that when students feel comfortable and can trust the people helping them they tend to grasp the information better and gain more confidence. Therefore I try to create a personal relationship with the clients I denver">tutor. I like to know them more than just a student but as a person also. I try to make the denver">tutoring session interactive by having the student attempt the problem while I am working with them so that they can learn from their mistakes and to pick up a few tricks. I also go over little memory tricks in order for a student to remember an equation better or to avoid common errors. I am a high energy person and I incorporate that into my denver">tutoring session. The student will get a lot of work done with out feeling the stress of a subject that does not come as easy to them.
