There is nothing more exciting then teaching someone something new especially younger children. I am even more excited on having a career that will allow me to live the excitement of learning everyday. I love teaching.
About Me
I graduated from University of Illinois in 2017 with a bachelors in elementary education. I have been a primary teacher for 3 years. I worked for Chicago Public Schools 2017-2018. I moved to New Jersey summer of 2018 and started teaching in Jersey City since.
Experience
I have been in a classroom since my freshman year of college. I have gained over 1000+ hours of experience throughout my college career. I have worked as a head camp counselor from 2013 to 2017.
I have been a primary teacher for 3 years. A year in Chicago and two years in Jersey City.
Approach
Because I want to spend my live teaching children I want to learn how to teach students the best way possible. That includes catering to different needs students have. My approach to teaching is to help children learn in ways that are most effective. My strengths are differentiating lesson plans that deepen students learning in ways that work best for them.
