Biology Advance Tutoring

I have received an A or B in the following classes and labs: introductory biology (biology I and II), and cell biology, genetics, ecology, human physiology, and microbiology. I am extremely familiar with both the course content, and the challenges that each class presents. And I regularly participated in student-led discussions and study sessions, which functioned as peer-tutoring sessions.

Biology I Tutoring

I have completed classes and labs in introductory biology (biology I and II), and cell biology with straight A's. I expect to complete a genetics course, with its corresponding lab, by May 2015. As a student pursuing a B.S. in biology, I am extremely familiar with both the course content, and the challenges that each class presents. I regularly participated in student-led discussions and study sessions. And I feel strongly that the skills involved in being a participating member of a study group overlap with those required for tutors.

I have received an A or B in the following classes and labs: introductory psychology, physiological psychology, learning and cognition, lifespan development, child psychopathology, and application of statistics

Sociology Tutoring

I received an A in general sociology. I believe may of the terms and interests in sociology overlap with psychology, as well.

Writing Tutoring

I have experience writing lab reports for various science classes. But I also frequently wrote essays for classes in the humanities. I often peer-edited papers and helped others with the content and the flow of their work.
