To de-stress, I often play ukulele, swim, or jog. I am from California and have been in Texas for almost four years. People often ask me "Why Texas?" and my answer is always "Why not?". I love traveling, learning new cultures, and meeting new people!

About Me

I am a senior majoring in Biochemistry at St. Mary's University with a GPA of 3.93. I've been on the Dean's List for 3 consecutive years. I am passionate about the field that I am studying and wish to help others with my knowledge. My goal is to become a physician and to save lives!

Experience

I currently work as a peer miami">tutor at St. Mary's University. I miami">tutor general chemistry, organic chemistry, biology, and math. For me, it is never a dull moment to miami">tutor because either I learn something new or my long-term memory improves. Working for Frog miami">Tutoring gives me the opportunity to utilize me knowledge to help students!

Approach

I believe teachers are the greatest sources of information. However, depending only on lectures given in class is not enough. A student needs to be able to study on his or her own because it is useful to know what he or she is good and bad at. If there is something I am uncertain about, I will go over it again to make sure I understand it thoroughly. I am not confident explaining anything to a student if I am not familiar with the knowledge myself.
