Fun Facts
I am a future Army Officer. I enjoy fitness and ultimate Frisbee. Math is my favorite subject with Physics as a close second. I have wanted to be an engineer since my second grade and and Army engineer since my sixth and now I am realizing that goal.
About Me
I am a senior Engineering student at St. Mary's university with a concentration in Physics. I am teaching a Physics Lab. I have made the dean's list 6/10 semesters.
Experience
I am a great speaker with 4 years of experience in ROTC. As a senior student in ROTC i have 2 years of experience teaching the junior students all the lessons I was taught the years prior. Balancing ROTC, school, and work I have developed a great ability to manage my time.
Approach
Learning has always been easy for me because I can recognize patterns like those present in math and physics. After many years of learning I have found that I can increase my understanding by simply tutoring others. In finding the approach the others understand, I see new ways to tackle problems myself. I have never found that simply doing the work for a friend helps them at all, instead I am typically berated by peers for helping them struggle through the obstacle instead.

College Algebra and Trigonometry: B-
Univariate Calculus I: A
Mechanics and Heat Acoustics: A
Univariate Calculus II: B
Modern Physics: A
Differential Equations: A
Electro magnetics Theory: A
Fluid Mechanics: A-
Principles of Materials Science: A-
There are a lot of classes here that are not directly math courses, but all of the non-math courses are where I applied college algebra and other advanced math procedures in real life applications. Those courses are more pivotal to tutoring in math since they require a more in depth understanding of algebra in order to apply techniques to solve problems.
