Fun Facts

I have a real passion for books. Ever since I was a child, I loved reading and to this day I'm always trying to find new books to read. I especially love fantasy and science fiction books and yes, I am a Harry Potter fan. I really enjoy learning languages and took 12 years of Mandarin Chinese and now am learning Korean.

About Me

I am a senior studying Psychology at Emory University and am on the Dean's List.

Experience

I have experience working with children during my time at Kumon and during school's Psychology in the UK study abroad program with Scottish primary school children. During the Psychology in the UK study abroad program, I had the opportunity to help children with math, reading, and writing activities. It has become a passion of mine to atlanta">tutor students because it is very rewarding.

Approach

My experience with working with children at Kumon and at a Scottish primary school made me realize that motivation and ensuring that students have a personal connection to the material is a big factor in academic success. I like to develop interpersonal relationships with students, so that I can establish a comfortable learning environment and so students can learn with ease. I am very passionate about seeing students succeed academically and will try my best to help them.
