Fun Facts
I moved to Austin about 13 years ago and absolutely love living here! I have two wonderful daughters who are my world. I love staying active, being outdoors and anything involving nature. Soccer is one of my passions and I play as often as I can. My love is math and science!
About Me
After earning my Bachelor degree in Animal Science at the University Of Wisconsin-Madison, I have worked in several different animal capacities, including research, surgical, and companion animal preventative/emergency care. My love is math and science! I have been teaching 7th grade science for 5 years.
Experience
As a teacher assistant I have the opportunity to assist children with various learning abilities, including special needs children. I have tutored various school age children in reading, science and mathematics.
Approach
Growing up school never came easy! I wasn't one of those students who read it once and knew it! I would read, highlight and take notes! I was always an "A" student but I worked for all my A's! I believe every child learns differently and it is our job as parents and educators to determine each child's specific learning style and use it to help them becoming successful in their education.
