Fun Facts

My hobbies include reading science fiction, spy novels, action novels, historical novels and math and science books. I enjoy math, crossword and suduku puzzles. I also love most types of music including classical, souther gospel, jazz, old style country and especiall bluegrass. Most of all I enjoy my two grandsons!

About Me

I have always been interested in math and science. I graduated with a degree in Applied Mathematics and have taken several graduate level courses in science/colorado/denver">Computer Science. My career started as a scientific programmer. The last years of my career were spent in the computer industry as a developer, development manger, consultant and project manager.

My first denver">tutoring experience was while I was in college as a teaching assistant. I tutored my three children through high school and college math and science. I have recently tutored a neightbor in high school algebra I. As a development manager I taught and mentored many individuals within my organization.

My approach is to always be positive and not only to work with intellect but also with passion. You need to care for the individual as well as the progress they are making. It is great to see the light come on in a students eyes when they get it. You need to help all aspects of the student.
