Fun Facts
I was born and raised in Mexico City. I moved to Los Angeles 7 months ago because I married a wonderful P.E. Teacher and Baseball Coach. I come from a very close family, which makes family very important to me. I have a younger sister and a lot of cousins. I love different cultures and one of my favorite things to do is to cook and bake.
About Me
Growing up in Mexico City was very interesting. I went to a bilingual school and started learning English when I was 4 years old. I went on to study the language and different subjects for the next 14 years. When I graduated High School I studied Architecture, also in Mexico City, and now I am pursuing a degree in Graphic Design and learning French.
While in High School, I volunteered my time teaching Elementary and Middle School children at a local school. This is when I learned that I had a passion for tutoring and helping other students. In 2005 I got a certification to teach English as a second language and this gave me a lot of experience in teaching and helped me understand different learning methods. Now that I have the opportunity to work with new students, I am very excited and looking forward to helping them achieve their goals.
I always enjoyed learning and found different ways to make it appealing to me. I am very visual and love to take advantage of my creativity to make things more interesting. I believe that every student is different and my main goal is to get to know each one of my tutoring students and make sure we find the learning method that fits them best.
