About Me
I decided to get involved with helping students of all ages and backgrounds gain access to education.
Experience
I have tutored for years in math, writing, and elementary education.
I have prepared higher level students for standardized exams such as GRE, SAT, and Praxis.
I have taught computer and English literacy as well as resume writing to non-native English speakers in Philadelphia.
Approach
Everyone learns in a different way. Some may struggle not because they are incapable of grasping the material, but because they process information in a way that is different from how the material is presented.
Some are auditory learners, others visual learners. Some people prefer step by step explanation, and others learn by playing games. My approach is to see why the student is struggling, and provide them with tools they can use to learn more efficiently.

Biology Tutoring
As a pre-med college student for some time, I know biology like the back of my hand. I can help you with all of your classes, as this is my strong suit. Additionally, I really the topics.
Math Advance Tutoring
I currently tutor middle school students for the HSPT exam- or high school entrance exam. This requires knowledge of advanced middle school math.
Middle School Math Tutoring
I currently teach middle school and high school math for a prestigious agency in Philadelphia. My students speak highly of me, and request me repetedly and refuse to chose another tutor. This is because I am friendly and dedicated.
Reading Comprehension Tutoring
I currently tutor high school and middle school students prepare for reading comprehension for school and practice exams. In fact, I even help adults with these exams. I thoroughly enjoy it!
Spanish Tutoring
I do currently tutor some students in middle school Spanish. As someone who has studied this language for 6 years, I find myself proficient to teach it at a middle school level.
Elementary Math Tutoring
I currently tutor elementary school kids in math. I absolutely love teaching math, because once a student understands it, he or she is able to solve any problem in that given topic! It is wonderful to see the progress!
Social Studies Tutoring
As a law student, I love history. You learn so many lessons from studying history. I currently teach the Russian Revoulution, but I love teaching all areas of history.
Microsoft Windows Tutoring
I have been using computer programs such as Microsoft Windows for years! All of my jobs have required this knowlege. A recent test I took for a company shows that I am 93% proficient with Excel and 97% proficient with Word.
Microsoft Word Tutoring
I have been using Word for as long as I can remember. I recently took an exam for a company at which I scored 97% for a Microsoft Word test.
Political Science Tutoring
My undergraduate major at La Salle University was Political Science and Pre-Law. Therefore, I have taken all the classes required by the school for a pre-law degree. During this process, I learned about all that is required for one who holds this degree what how to approach studying for these exams.
Religion Tutoring
I have been a student of theology for over 20 years. This is an area which is interesting to me, and I have therefore done much independant study on these topics. This qualifies me to teach theology.
Study Skills Tutoring
From graduating law school to passing the very strensous bar exam, I have done it all! These rigorous courses have taught me study skills and work ethic. I will use everything I have learned to help you master your topics!
ESL/ESOL Tutoring
I have tutored students who came to the US from foreign countries at need help with English and other subjects. As someone who emmigrated to the US at a young age, I do understand the struggles one faces. I am very patient, and I love trying out new strategies to help people.
Praxis Tutoring
I currently tutor students in Praxis I. This is so fun! The students are adults, and they are very dedicated to learning.
