Martial arts and combat sports are a big part of my life. My childhood dream was to become a ninja turtle or Batman when I grew up. About Me
I am a graduate of Loyola Marymount University (class of 09') with a degree in Sociology under Pre-Law. I have been on the Dean's List multiple times throughout college, as well as a member of Alpha Kappa Delta, the Sociology Honor Society. My undergraduate research article on Brazilian Jiu Jitsu was published in "The Sociological Eye", a national undergraduate research journal. In addition, I have completed a Language and Arts program from the prestigious Seoul National University, the top university in South Korea. I have worked with a wide range of students, including those who have autism, ADHD, product of parental abuse, are extremely gifted, talented beyond belief, and everyone just in between who need a watchful eye and some motivation.
I am currently working as the Operations Coordinator for Radix Fire Protection, a full line fire safety company. It's a good, stable career with flexible scheduling, but it still did not satisfy my desire to teach.
