Fun Facts

I was born in Louisville, Kentucky, then raised for eighteen years in Indiana; but, I'm a true fan of the Kentucky Wildcats and sports in general. I played basketball from when I was four years old until after my Sophomore year of high school. I began concentrating on track and cross country when I began to show immense signs of improvement. Sometimes, this transfer of interest can be true for academics as well in regards to potential career paths.

About Me

I am a junior History and Anthropology Honors double major at the louisville">University of Louisville. Upon graduation, I plan to attend a top 30 law school. I'm an industrious, driven individual who possesses a passion for helping others succeed and reach their full potential.

Experience

I've always been one to show leadership, be it within the athletic or academic sphere. Not only have I tutored for REACH at the louisville">University of Louisville, I've also tried to help students as much as possible on my own time. I truly have a passion for not only teaching others, but helping others find ways to teach themselves better. Approach

My fundamental approach in regards to louisville">tutoring focuses on ways to handle studying a large amount of material, efficient note taking skills, critical analysis when approaching written works, sources, and essays, as well as placing an emphasis upon a comprehensive view of material. I've learned that through proper time management, efficient ways of organizing course loads, and proper analyses of material, anything is possible when motivation is present.

I am a History major at the University of Louisville, and a participant of the university Honors program. I am eligible for departmental honors as well. I possess an affinity towards the subject of history and have been ambitiously pursuing research in the field since I attended middle school. I am currently participating in a graduate level independent study on Italian Signorie to 1450 A.D.

History Advance Tutoring

I am a History major at the University of Louisville, and a participant of the university Honors program. I am eligible for departmental honors as well. Latin Tutoring

I am currently enrolled in my final semester of Latin at the University of Louisville. I have never received a grade below an A- in preceding semesters, and I am confident that I have the skills necessary to tutor Latin on an elementary level. I am most skilled in verb conjugations, understanding sentence structure, and applying what is implied within the language.

From an early age my family, as well as English and Literature instructors, have emphasized the importance of great creative and technical literature. The footprint that some authors have left behind has influenced personal and regional philosophy, as well as succeeding authors and poets. Throughout high school I participated in each Honors and AP course available, and my course schedule presents an immense amount of reading for critical analysis and comprehension.

Philosophy Tutoring

One of the most integral aspects of living is experience, what to make of that experience, and what to take from it. A salient catalyst of the Enlightenment was the highlighted experiences of those which were vulnerable and socially excluded, as well as the emergence of a challenge to arbitrary rule. Experiences taught those contributors of the Enlightenment to value logic and refrain from elitist philosophy which, in turn, changed the landscape of the world as we know it today. I am able to grasp such ideas through my experience in studying history, anthropology, and philosophy as a distinct discipline.

Political Science Tutoring

Throughout my studies within History, ranging from AP courses in high school (including AP Government) and my major coursework to date, I have become accustomed to analyzing the dominant sociopolitical structures of the date and context of various materials and sources. One must understand and grasp a comprehensive context above all in order to understand political structures of different states and city-states. I am currently enrolled in a graduate level independent study concerning 'Italian Signorie to 1450'.

From an early age my family, as well as English and Literature instructors, have emphasized the importance of great creative and technical literature.
