Fun Facts

I am a mother of three... fun right! Well, fact is, they inspire everything I am! I have to make the most of life because I have to give life. I write and sing and dance and read and learn and use Spanish regularly, I LOVE sports and fitness (boyfriend perk), I love people and all their differences (I'm a mini-sociologist too) and I'll entertain any hobby or interest. I mean, when you're raising the next crocodile Hunter, Oprah Winfrey, and Quentin Tarantino, you gotta be cool!

About Me

I am a junior Spanish major at the memphis">University of Memphis entering into concentration courses and the climax of my education. I advocate the education of the Spanish and culture alike. My dream is to found a fully-funded bilingual private school, Pre-K through 12th grade, that also targets all areas of curriculum and options that private schools only offer for financial gain and public schools barely offer due to politic character flaws.

Experience

Being of Spanish heritage myself, I truly love the language and the culture. It's only right that it comes so naturally to me but I believe anyone can not only learn spanish but to truly enjoy it; I can teach both Spanish and Enthusiasm! I started learning Spanish in 6th grade when we lived in California and have continued with it through the years. Having completed my first four years of college Spanish beautifully, I am excited to STRICTLY apply Spanish to my home and children this year.

Approach

I hope to gain from memphis">tutoring what teachers gain from teaching, the content of knowing that you've given something to someone. I want to feed and fuel curiosity and the potential of a person in our society. When everyone asks, "what are you gonna do with a degree in Spanish?", my response is simple, I am securing my own ability to reach out to a thriving, international community, in whatever I do. Conveniently, education is what I want to do, and memphis">Tutoring is the beginning of my journey!
