About Me

I recently left my job at Kinder Care Learning Center, where I worked for nearly 3 1/2 years. I genuinely enjoyed teaching children and helping shape their lives by improving their learning. I truly enjoy teaching and am finishing up my first quarter at Drexel University, where I plan on obtaining my Master's degree and teaching certification.

Experience

Over the past several years, I have worked a lot with young children. As a teacher at KC, I spent most of my time focusing on reading, writing, and math. Now, as an after school nanny, I have been working a lot with school aged children and helping them with their homework. I am confident I could help improve your child's understanding in the specified areas.

Approach

My philadelphia">tutoring approach is to start with the basics. I will use a step by step process and begin with what the child already knows or can perform well. This will help me get a clear understanding of the child's knowledge and it will also help the child see how to get from one point to the next.
