Fun Facts
I love to run and ride my bike on my free time. I ran the PF Chang Marathon in 2011 and hope to run it this year as well. I am a very active person and love to play sports with friends and family (even though the only sport I play decently is tennis).
About Me
I am a recent graduate from the University of Arizona. I graduated with a major in physiology and minors in Spanish and math. I am currently applying to medical school and hope to attend medical school in the year 2013. My future plan is to become a doctor.
I worked for the City of Nogales my junior and senior years of High School. I was a tennis and chess instructor for children, teens and adults. I also tutored fellow classmates and friends in advance math, physics and physiology. I love to help people and take great pride in doing so.
I have learned, from my past teaching experiences, that there is no one teaching method that works for all students. One must work with the student and come up with a teaching method that is effective. I have also learned that giving students answers does more harm than good; a student must rationalize and work through a problem in order to fully grasp a concept.
