Fun Facts
During the warm seasons, I am playing tennis, and when it's cold outside I am working on my squash game or going skiing. In my spare time, I am learning Billy Joel songs to add to my piano playing repertoire. I love learning and doing new things, but more importantly, I like to have fun! What's life without fun?
About Me
I am finishing up my first year at Sidney Kimmel Medical College (formerly Jefferson Medical College) in Philadelphia and I am going to be in the area doing orthopedics research at Rothman Institute this summer. I graduated Cum Laude (top 10%) from Penn State University in May of 2014. I'm looking to delve into a career in surgery.
Experience
I scored a 36 on my MCAT (top 96th percentile; 13 Physical Sciences, 11 Verbal, 12 Biological Sciences) on the January 2014 test. During this past 2014 summer, I tutored someone for the MCAT (I can give you his number as a reference), so the information is very fresh for me. My scores indicate that I am well rounded in all of the MCAT subjects.
Approach
I am an EMT and have been a tennis professional at various establishments including a country club for over 5 years, so I possess an understanding and know-how for great communication. One of my strongest philadelphia">tutoring attributes is that I am good at making sure that you know how to answer a given question with the appropriate logic and skills.
I am a fun, light-hearted guy, and I aim to make the dreary experience of studying for the MCAT more enjoyable. Let’s get you set up for medical school!

Anatomy Physiology I Tutoring

Elementary Statistics Tutoring
Ever since taking AP Statistics in high school and getting a 5 on the exam, I have fallen in love with the subject. I took two statistics classes at Penn State and got A's in both. As a medical student, I am involved in running the statistics for published research projects. I have formally tutored 3 people in statistics and also helped several friends who struggled in the Penn State classes. Statistics is my favorite subject to tutor, and I am very good at explaining what needs to be understood. All of my statistics students will have nice things to say about me.
