Fun Facts

I am an absolute fanatic about sports. I grew up in sunny San Diego, so as I kid I was always outside and active. Besides sports, my biggest passion is music. I have always loved and been fascinated by music of all types. My dream is to one day write for a big music magazine like Rolling Stone.

About Me

I am a sophomore from San Diego at New York University. I am studying English Literature at the fantastic NYU English Department, where I have been met with academic success and the honor of an acceptance into the Honors Scholars Program. I hope to pursue a five-year Masters program in the English Department and eventually teach at the college level.

For the last three years I have worked at an after-school program at Monterey Ridge Elementary School. Here I mentored and taught students from first to fifth grade and the experience was extremely rewarding. During my years at Monterey Ridge, I worked as a private tutor and gained experience in test prep and higher level tutoring. Working with and teaching people, which I have had the privilege and pleasure of doing for the last few years, has become a true passion of mine and I am extremely excited for the opportunity to continue at Frog Tutoring!

As a tutor and mentor, I strive to inspire positivity and excitement. I strongly believe that any subject can be interesting and fun if taught correctly, and that if it is interesting, it will be much easier to learn. This is the attitude that has helped me in every facet of academics and I really hope to pass it on to my students as well!
