Fun Facts

I love the outdoors. To me, there is nothing better than being in the mountains fishing and camping. I enjoyed playing soccer, and now I am looking forward to one day coaching. I have 2 older brothers and an older sister.

About Me

I am a senior at the University of Arizona in the Science Education program, with an emphasis in Biology, so Biology is my strong suit. I would like to teach High School biology and chemistry and anatomy.

Experience

I dont have much experience tucson">tutoring. I am/was the assistant manager at an after school program for an elementary school in the Catalina Foothills school district, so I would help kids with their math homework. I also interned at University High School and taught AP biology for 2 weeks. I spent some time at Alice Vail middle school as well.

Approach

Throughout my college education classes, the focus has been on student centered learning. So, my approach would be one where I guide the student towards the right process through my questions. In doing this, they are the ones learning, and I am not learning for them. I also love the applications of science, so I would apply the content to the students life.
