I love animals and have dogs and rabbits. During my free time I like to fence and go hiking. I was born in Israel and moved to the US when I was 7.

About Me

I am a senior at Emory University, majoring in Biology and History. I currently have a 3.5 GPA and perform cancer research at the Children's research Hospital. I am currently planning on taking a gap year prior to medical school. I speak English and Hebrew fluently, and can speak a good deal of Spanish.

Experience

For 6 years I was a teacher at a Sunday school and taught a variety of topics including bible studies, math, English, Hebrew, and history. I have also been a teacher's assistant at Emory University for multiple classes including statistics, biochemistry, and microbiology. In high school I also did private atlanta">tutoring for my peers as well as middle school students in a variety of subject areas. I have worked with students of all ages and love helping people.

Approach

I believe that every student is unique and that one should approach each student differently in the best way for them. Through positive encouragement, persistent practice, I strive to reach out and connect with each of my students. My goal is not merely to teach them the subject in which they are struggling, but rather to motivate them to want to learn and improve.
