Fun Facts

One of the most interesting things about me is my love for animals, and all the wonderful creatures I have as pets. I also enjoy golfing, although I have only been playing for a year. I also enjoy being outside and just staying active.

About Me

I am an incoming freshman at Texas Christian University. I graduated in the top 7% of my 790 student class. I have taken both the SAT and ACT more than once. I plan to receive my MBA from maryland/columbia">columbia">maryland/columbia">Columbia after receiving my bachelors degree at the Neeley School of Business.

Experience

Being the oldest of six younger sisters, I am very familiar with helping students younger than myself. I have taken all AP and dual-credit classes throughout my high school career. Through my several leadership roles I have been able to mentor some of my peers and have found that I truly enjoying mentoring and teaching others.

Approach

I have always been successful in school, but not always because I was the smartest person in the room. Instead, at an early age I discovered that I just learned differently. Once I discovered this about myself, I was able to apply it to all my subjects and courses. This is why I feel that just as important as it is for me to teach the student the material, I need to discover and show the student what kind of learner they are, so that they can become a successful student on their own.
