Fun Facts

I grew up in a rural Tennessee town. Born on April 1st, I have always had a jovial personality and attractive sense of humor. I am an only child who travels extensively with my friends annually. Most of my free time is spent shopping and hanging out with my 84 year old grandmother.

About Me

I am currently a doctoral candidate scheduled to graduate in December 2015. I have four prior degrees (Bachelors from University of TN; Master's from Freed Hardeman; and EdS degrees from both Freed Hardeman and Walden). Now I am a Title Instructional Facilitator for a large urban district in Memphis, TN. Ultimately, I seek to be a school superintendent.

Experience

I began my teaching career in 1999 and subsequently taught grades 4th-8th for twelve years. I have served as a consultant in various states (IL, TX, LA, AR and MI) for low performing schools. I tutored before, during and after school for over 10 years as I always pushed my students to excel.
