I have many passions, one of them is sports! I love all sports, and play all sports. I help coach my former high school lacrosse, and football teams, and I also play club soccer at basketball at maryland/towson">towson-university">maryland/towson">Towson University!

About Me

I will be a senior at maryland/towson">towson-university">maryland/towson">Towson University this upcoming fall! I am a secondary education history major, and have been on the deans list the past three semesters. I am in the phi alpha theta honor society at maryland/towson">towson-university">maryland/towson">Towson University. I am also in the 5 year masters program at maryland/towson">Towson. So I will graduate spring of 2016 with my bachelors, and then again spring of 2017 with my masters. I love school and learning. Although I will have 2 degrees by the time I'm 23, I plan on being in school for a long time!

Experience

As a member of the phi alpha theta honor society at maryland/towson">towson-university">maryland/towson">Towson University we maryland/maryland/baltimore">baltimore">tutor young men and women from maryland/baltimore">Baltimore city public schools on Tuesday, and Thursday night. I also volunteer one night a week at my former high school and maryland/maryland/baltimore">baltimore">tutor the student athletes who are struggling to maintain grades. As a future teacher my goal is to impact students the why I was but my teachers. I love helping students achieve goals that they though were unattainable.

Approach

I struggled throughout school my entire life, until I got into high school where great teachers impacted me. I was taught that mindset, attitude and belief have a lot to do with successful learning. I myself am not a master at all subjects, but I have learned how to learn, and that what I teach students when I maryland/maryland/baltimore">baltimore">tutor them. Give the right attitude and mindset you can accomplish anything. A lot of the time from my experience half the battle of teaching is convincing the student they can do it!
