About Me

I'm 22 years old and I just graduated from The University of Texas at Austin. I received my bachelors degree in Human Biology with a concentration in the social aspects of health and disease. I have recently moved to Houston to attend medical school at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston! Someday I hope to become a pediatrician! I believe that challenging myself mentally and academically will help me achieve my goals!

During my time at UT I tutored and taught study skills to several of my peers. I served as the Scholarship chair for an organization I was part of. This position required me to get to know my clients strengths, weaknesses, goals, and study habits. I was able to help them tailor the time they spent on schoolwork to maximize their potential. I also was an in home nanny/houston">tutor for a 4th grader. This position taught me about the patience, persistence, and reliability that being a successful houston">tutor and mentor requires.

My houston">tutoring style involves building the upon the fundamentals. I believe that if a student has a solid understanding of the basic fundamental elements of a subject, they will be able to grasp higher level concepts with better ease. I also provide my clients with study and note taking skills that I believe will help them grower as a learner. My goal is to help my students enjoy learning and feel a sense of success.
