Fun Facts
Outside of academics, I love to play soccer and basketball. I am the oldest of three, and I am originally from the Philippines. I moved here in United States when I was 11 years old. My favorite subjects are Mathematics, Science, and Programming.
About Me
I graduated with my Bachelors of Science in Software Engineering at University of Texas at Arlington. Technology is my passion. My dream is to contribute to something innovative and world changing. Most importantly, I want to apply my knowledge of technology to make the world a better place.
Experience
I have previous dallas">tutoring experience in high school. I tutored Algebra I, Algebra II, Geometry, and Physics on a weekly basis. In addition to my dallas">tutoring experience, I have experience working with children, I volunteered at my local library during summer of 2011 to organized summer reading program for children ages 6-12. I helped children fill out application and keep track of their reading times.
Approach
Big picture, details, practice, and confidence are the key of mastering anything. Big pictures provide an understanding of the concept, and answer the question 'why'. Details applies the concept, and answers the question 'how'. Practice is doing the details many times. Confidence is gained through progress made during practices, it will help students reach their true potential. As a dallas">tutor, I plan to bring this approach in my sessions as I teach the students the content they need.

I am experience in Java programming language. I mastered the fundamentals of object-oriented languages such Encapsulation, Data Abstraction, Polymorphism and Inheritance. I developed an Personal Health Monitoring System Android application in which I utilize Java with XML and SQLite to build the app. I also built a website using Jave EE eclipse tool and Apache Tomcat as server. I also have multithreading experience in Java.
Python Tutoring
I am proficient in Python. I mastered the fundamentals which includes conditionals, loops, lists, tuples, dictionaries, File I/O.
