Fun Facts
One thing people learn about me is how much I love sports. As kid my parents always took my siblings and I to little league sporting events. In high school and college I attended all sporting events. My favorite sporting event was when I went to see my favorite team The Miami Heat play and I had the all access pass and I got to sit behind the heat bench and I met Lebron's mom.
About Me
I graduate with my BS in Accounting with a minor in finance from USF. I am currently working as a Staff Accountant. My next goal is to go back to school and get my MBA with a concentration in Accounting. Once I complete my degree I plan to study for the CPA and the CFE (certified fruad examiner) exams.
Experience
In high school i was a part of Mu Alpha Theta a math honor society and we tutored our fellow classmates/ other students in all levels of math. In college i continued miami-gardens">tutoring and i was a peer mentor. I was also a part of Phi Theta Kappa a National Honor Society. Working for Frog miami-gardens">tutor allows me to help people love math and numbers as much as I do.
Approach
As a child I learned very early what motivated me to learn. In third grade my teacher challenged our. Class to learn our times tables up to 13, and I was able to do it because I was competitive and I love a good Challenge.
Over time i realized that the best way to miami-gardens">tutor or teach someone a subject they hate is to understand their needs as well as the things they enjoy the most and what motivates them. Then you correlate their passions with math to better help them understand the subject.

Business Tutoring
Being an accountant and working for large companies i have been blessed to study under great leaders and business owners. In college i excelled at all of my business courses such as business law and professional writing.
College Algebra Tutoring
As i stated in college i was able to test out of most math classes and College Algebra was one of them. However, because I loved math so much I opted to take college algebra as an elective to continue to exercise my brain as well as feed my love for numbers and math.
Math Tutoring
In college I took the college placement test and I was able to test out of most math classes. I joined the campus peer mentoring program and I continued to tutor students taking lower level math classes.
Algebra Tutoring
In tenth grade I took algebra and I received an A in the class. My teacher was so impressed with my performance and I was invited to join Mu Alpha Theta which is a Math Honor Society. That summer I helped tutor the algebra Sumer school class.
Algebra II Tutoring
As previously stated i was a part of Mu Alpha theta a math honor society and we we're expected to tutor our fellow peers. My junior year I took Algebra 2 honors and received an A in the class. Throughout the year I continued to offer my tutoring services. Algebra at all levels happen to be my favorite subject to teach.
Pre Algebra Tutoring
Math has been my favorite subject ever since third grade and because of my love for math and numbers I was placed in advanced classes. I took pre algebra in middle school and I received an A in the class. I began tutoring my peers once I entered high school.
Middle School Math Tutoring
While in high school I became a mentor and I enjoyed helping my peers, but what I loved most was going back to my middle school to tutor students who had a difficult time with math. The best part was when they were able to grasp the concepts.
Elementary Math Tutoring
In elementary is where I discovered my love for math, and over the years I have tutored several elementary students as well as my nieces and nephews. In doing so I have been able to mold them and help them better understand that math is fun.
