Fun Facts
I am the oldest of four kids in my family, a passionate Aggie, and a huge space nerd! Whether it's watching sci-fi shows (Star Trek, Doctor Who, and Firefly are favorites), launching model rockets, or teaching middle school students about rocket science, I am always ready to do anything related to space!
About Me
I have been an ACT, PSAT, SAT, English, and math tutor for three years, and I've loved every second of it! Right now I am a graduate student in aerospace engineering at Texas A&M, National Merit Scholar, National Collegiate Scholar, and President's Endowed Scholar. When I am not down at the engineering lab working on a building project, I'm usually helping friends master their science, English and math classes.
Experience
I have taken four different SAT and ACT test prep classes to master as many different strategies as possible. Now I tutor in math and English skills to high school students with a focus on applying those skills to the SAT, PSAT, and ACT+writing. I was homeschooled in high school and specialize in helping home-educated and private-schooled students get the grades they need to earn major scholarships.
Approach
At first I searched for the best test-taking strategy, a "silver bullet" for the SAT and ACT. After months of study, I realized that there is no single solution. The best strategy depends on your natural talents, the scores you want, and how much time you have to prepare. Together we can find the best strategy for you!

PSAT Tutoring
My score of 224 on the PSAT earned me the title of National Merit Scholar, but it wasn't easy. It took several weeks of hard work, but I'm proof that hard work pays off! I'd love to coach another promising student who is aiming high and ready to start training for the PSAT.
Astronomy Tutoring
I took Intro to Astronomy at Texas A&M purely for fun (it filled no requirements on my degree) and got a A in the course. Space is my thing!
