About Me
I am a junior Finance major in the McCombs School of Business at UT with a focus on investment management and a minor in change management. I have been on the Dean's List every semester at UT, and am also a member of Phi Kappa Phi honors society. I hope to attend law school when I graduate next May and I have a strong interest in real estate law.
I have tutored elementary, middle school, and high school students throughout high school and college. Through the National Honor's Society and my youth group in high school I worked with elementary school students on organization, math, science, reading, and writing skills. I worked with the middle school students at my school on becoming organized as well as their writing and reading skills. Over the past few semesters I have helped a high school student who has recently graduated prepare for college applications, his writing, reading, and study skills. I am excited for the opportunity Frog austin">Tutoring has provided for me to work with more students to help them improve.
As a current student I have been inspired by teachers to reach towards my maximum potential. I believe the best way to illustrate this to young students is by learning his or her strengths and weaknesses, positively reinforcing accomplishments, encouraging questions through formal feedback channels, and help them realize what he or she is capable of. Learning the proper organization and study habits can be a turning point for a student and that can unlock the path to future successes.
