Something I like to do when I have a chance is to get on the internet and read …the news! I am really passionate about knowing what happens around me and in the world. I can tell where about every single country of world is located on a map, what language people speak and the type ruling government. I am also a big lover of Soccer that I have been playing for years. My teammate used to say that I was a perfect goalkeeper...

About Me

I am originally from Ivory Coast (West Africa) .I came in the United States to pursue my studies because at that time already, my outstanding academic performances were noticed by my friends and family. After I spent two years in North Lake College (Irving, TX), I went to the University of Texas at Arlington (UTA) with two scholarships; I obtained a Bachelor in Electrical Engineering and a Masters in Mathematics from the same University.

While I was working on my bachelor, I had the opportunity to work for the Math Clinic at UTA as a Math dallas">Tutor. It was an exciting experience because I ended up teaching a lot of subjects. It is one of the cases where Mathematics is used in real life. Some of the clients were students in Business or Nursing. I had sometimes to learn some Business theories or Biology concepts in order to help these students. In others words, it was a double learning experience. I also worked as a Math dallas">tutor for the Fort Worth ISD a Dunbar High School. That experience helped me learn how to teach high school students.

I believe that the best way to make a student learn something is to show that what we are teaching might be challenging but fun after all. I can for example tell a student that the Pythagorean Theorem is used by Pilots estimate the landing distance of their airplane. So in order to be a good dallas">tutor, one should be friendly and patient with students. Also it is important to show to the student how what he or she is learning can be used in real life.
