Fun Facts

One of my passions and hobbies is playing basketball. I fell in love with the sport at the age of six and use the sport to mentor urban city youth. I love to travel and have had the opportunity to experience five different countries.

About Me

I am a senior Kinesiology, Sport Studies, and Physical Education major at Morehouse College. Throughout my collegiate career, I have been awarded honors and deans list on consecutive semesters. After I graduate Morehouse, I plan to complete a post baccalaureate and then attend a Masters of Science program to receive a degree in Athletic Training. Long term, I desire to receive a certification in Strength and Conditioning and work for an NCAA or NBA basketball team.

Experience

In 2013, I had the opportunity to study abroad at Josai International University in Chiba, Japan. In this comprehensive program I studied Japanese language and culture. The following semester I became a atlanta">tutor for incoming freshmen enrolled in Elementary Japanese 101.

For the past year, I have shadowed and worked as a student therapist and athletic trainer. Using my experience in those fields and completion in the major courses, I tutored several Kinesiology majors at Morehouse.

Approach

School was always one of my strongest attributes and came easy to me. However, much of my success within the classroom was because of learning centers such as Sylvan and Kumon. Their atlanta">tutors helped enhance my math, reading, and writing skills. I owe it to all those atlanta">tutors, as well as those who helped me achieve my academic success, to assist other student with my knowledge and skill to reach optimal academic performance and intellectual development.
