I am a certified teacher with a masters in curriculum and instruction. I have taken many education courses and understand education courses very well.

History has always been a favorite subject area for me. I took extra courses in college in history because i enjoyed them. I have always done well in history and enjoy relating it to other subject areas.

Homework Coach Tutoring

We have a class where I teach that is specific to helping students complete their homework and ask for help when needed. I enjoy teaching this course and helping students organize their time. I was a very unorganized person in high school and now know the importance of planning.

Reading Comprehension Tutoring

I taught special education for two years and taught a class that was specific to reading comprehension. I understand the skills that students must learn and have taught them in a variety of ways to reach of all of my students needs.

I currently teach high school science and am certified to teach science. I enjoy science and understand all the different subjects.

Study Skills Tutoring

There is a class at my high school that teaches study skills. I understand the importance of study skills and how studying a little each day can greatly improve a student's scores. I enjoy teaching that class and would enjoy teaching a student one on one.

ACT Science Tutoring

I took the ACT and SAT when graduating high school multiple times. I chose to help with the ACT because it includes science. I have helped tutor students after school to prepare for the ACT.

GRE Tutoring

I have been a high school teacher for 3 years and understand what each subject teaches.

I took multiple praxis tests and passed each one on the first try. I know what the tests look like and what is needed to pass each one.
