I own a studio in Kennesaw, Georgia called Powerhouse Dance - we just celebrated our 10th anniversary. Owning the studio and teaching dance is just another way I get to work with children and young adults.

About Me

I am a CPA originally from Ohio and graduated from Bowling green State University Magna Cum Laude with a BS in Accounting. I have worked in the accounting field for over 20+ years and held positions as Internal Audit Manager, Corporate Controller and Divisional Controller in a variety of different manufacturing facilities.

Experience

I have tutored and taught a variety of topics throughout my life. everything from swimming, horseback riding, dance, reading, math, and most recently accounting. I bring the benefit of practical experience to the theory taught in school. I have been atlanta">tutoring accounting, finance, Excel, Quickbooks, Powerpoint, and Word for almost a year, and I absolutely love helping others understand and learn!

Approach

I am a very positive, energetic, patient person, and I love helping people who really want to learn. atlanta">Tutoring a student includes teaching the subject matter in an understandable manner, as well as, enhancing study skills that will help them be successful in all classes.

Not everyone learns the same way - this is a well known fact. I am not set on any one way to approach a lesson. I will tailor my approach based on the feedback from a student.
