Fun Facts
I greatly enjoy being outdoors, such as, camping or going to the beach. At the beach I love to explore the tide pools and play volleyball. Volleyball is my all time favorite sport.
About Me
I am going to be junior in the fall at providence-college">Providence College. I am double majoring in mathematics and biology, and minoring in physics. I hope to one day work in prosthetics and research to help the wounded.
Experience
I have been providence">tutoring since high school and helped start a program for peer providence">tutoring. Through this program I tutored many students ranging from 3rd to 12th grade. I tutored in many subjects and continued providence">tutoring in college. I tutored mostly higher level maths for college students but I teach numerous subjects for high school students and below.
Approach
If it weren't for providence">tutors, I would have never done as well as I did in school. Giving back and helping others is very important to me. I understand that each student learns in different ways and in different time. I make a special point to figure out what method works best for each student and I work very hard to help each student.
I like to combine subjects when providence">tutoring because it can help the student understand. I am also extremely organized and use that when teaching and creating lesson plan
