I love music! I'm a guitarist and singer/songwriter and have opened in concert for Top 40 artists. I also follow the NBA avidly.

About Me

I am a senior Latin American Studies & Spanish major at Yale University. I hope to continue on to physical therapy school and then seminary.

Experience

My connecticut/new-haven">tutoring experience includes a six-week internship with Centro Para el Desarrollo Juvenil in Bolivia, where I taught elementary and middle school age kids everything from reading to math to English. I've done one-on-one connecticut/new-haven">tutoring through a mentoring program in connecticut/new-haven">New Haven (where I currently live). And in high school I spent summers volunteering weekly at the Boys & Girls Club.

Approach

I've had the blessing and privilege of being taught that a strong work ethic goes much farther than natural ability in any field. In high school and now in college I've learned which study practices pair best with my learning style, and I enjoy helping others find a similar balance in their studies. And talking through concepts with someone is the best way to learn, so I've necessarily become comfortable with communicating what I know and what I'm learning to others.
